The Indian two-wheeler power-bike segment seems to be witnessing a slew of new entrants lately, of which one of the most talked-about is the 150 cc Hero Honda Hunk. There are two versions of it launched recently – the kick start and the self start priced at Rs 55,000 and Rs 57,000 respectively. As far s the looks and styling aspects are concerned, the Hero Honda Hunk seems to be fairly decent looking sporting a sleek compact built and tank shrouds.
Appearance
Hunk’s tank offers a fine knee recess. Just like few international motorbikes, Hunk’s gas holder at the rear suspension and its telescopic fork is painted in a golden hue and this easily blends with the five spoke black alloy wheels. However, the overall theme of the motorbike is significantly black with its handlebar weight, alloy wheels, silencer guard and the grab rail all enveloped in this one single tone.
Engineering
Similar to its other model Super Splendour, the Hero Honda Hunk too sports tripod instrumentation. Speedometer, fuel gauge and rpm meter are all analogue. The battery is the same 12V-7Ah, whereas the ignition is via the Advanced Microprocessor Ignition. The engine embedded in Hero Honda Hunk is the same as in X-Treme’s i.e. the 4 stroke 150 cc engine. This power bike builds up 14bhp at 8500 rpm power and 12.8 Nm torque.
