Royal Enfield launched a new 500cc version Bullet, called the Bullet Classic at the Intermot show recently. The new 2009 Bullet Classic has to be the best machine to roll out of the Chennai factory plant ever.
The new Bullet Classic has a nostalgic appeal - the design, single seat, exhaust angle. The bike comes with a 499cc single cylinder air cooled engine with fuel injection which churns out 27.2bhp of power. Yes, that may sound 'weak' but then this has to be the most powerful Bullet from the company ever. Torque rating stands at 41.3Nm. The bike is supposed to hit top speeds in excess of 80mph or 128km/h (true).
