Yamaha MT01 launched in India

Yamaha Indiahas launchedMT01, another super sports bike in 1600cc+ segment. This new bike, "MT01" is aimed to target the super bike lovers with its power and sporty look.Yamaha already stormed the Indian bike market by launching its previous motorcycles, YZF R15 and FZ16 in 150cc segment and YZF R1 in 1000cc segment, now the launch of MT01 shows their interest to capture the super bike market of India. 

Yamaha MT01 has a 1670cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, OHV engine with a 5 speed gearbox. The 1670cc powerplant of this bike produces 90 PS power at 4,750rpm. and 150.3 Nm torque at 3,750rpm. The powerful engine of MT01 provides it a great acceleration to touch the mark of 60 Mph(96 Kmph) speed in just 3.0 seconds and make it able to break the barrier of 290 Kmph. MT01 is the most powerful bike launched in Indian motorcycle market which has the true super sport image and features.
